St. Paul's "Service of Lessons and Carols"

A small section of the many delicious sweets after the service one could partake in downstairs in St. Andrew's Hall.
Two of my closest friends here in Hamilton - representing Canada and Mexico! Both Carmen and Wally took part in the service as readers and did a very good job!

A lovely display at each pew

Long before the service started

On Sunday, December 14th, this annual service was held with two choirs, St. Paul's and St. Giles sharing the choir loft and singing in unison.

Many of the familiar carols were sung by the congregation and the two choirs gave their renditions of beautiful music to bless the soul.

Members of St. Paul's read different passages from The Bible at different stages of the service.
A solo was sung by Judi and Dave Linfoot, backed up by the St. Giles Choir.
After the hour service, people were invited downstairs to St. Andrew's Hall to partake of Christmas baking and to socialize.
Another successful event for St. Paul's!
