Gazebo on Mount Royal to honour writer Mordecai Richler.  I found this in the Montreal Gazette today and thought I would share it with my readers.
It is good to see a Canadian writer honoured.  In my opinion, Canada has so much amazing talent but we are not a people who boast. Naturally, that is a generalized statement.
Doesn't it make a reader feel comfortable, when they read of a place they know? Lachine, Montreal, Toronto and now Hamilton hold special places in my heart and sometimes I bring those places into my work.
Although Mr. Richler passed away ten years ago, his words will live on and on.  I find that wonderful.
Thanks for dropping by.
