It was a cool day which was very pleasant for those assembled in the gardens in Whitehern. We have had some really hot days and this was a refreshing change.
Valerie Nielsen, our President, welcomed the many guests to the garden. Her gracious manner made everybody feel very welcome.

We had readers from Sarnia, London, Brantford and from different parts of Greater Hamilton. I saw many familiar faces which was very pleasant for me.

Stan's poetry is often very funny and he has a very dry British wit which I enjoy very much.

Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you will return when you are able to. |
The different people reading took about an hour and the weather held off.
All in all, it was a very successful event.
