From a seed, come a gorgeous flower such as this, watered by the rain falling gently from the heavens, kissed by the summer sun and still blooming, even in November!
This flower, with its beautiful yellow with brown center glory, still adds beauty to the garden, even in November.

Flowers still cling to life on this early November day, with their bright orange colour standing out from the green foliage of the garden.

Stout stone walls shelter this estate in the garden area. Note the fall colours in the background.

Whitehern's garden in November

Whitehern's gardens are open to the public and are quite frequently visited by downtowners who desire a quiet spot to read a book, chat with friends or just bask in the sunshine which peaks through the stately old trees that grace this wonderful spot.

At the time of this blog, the garden is slowly dying, getting ready for its long rest under piles of white winter snow.
