I believe the Muses are still working as hard as they ever were to get people being creative, but the idea of creativity as entertainment in a world of ever-increasing competition for time/money is moving everything towards smaller niche markets. Art galleries and public theaters seem to be suffering as well. Stratford had to cancel many of their performances this last summer. CD's and movies are being digitally stolen and enjoyed in private.
