Visit from two Toronto friends

What is my blog without some beautiful flowers?

All in all, it was a nice visit and we had a good time together. I haven't seen either one of them for one year. Next year it will be my turn to go to Toronto.

Bye the time I walked them to the bus station, I was feeling quite unwell and totally exhausted from the extreme heat. I was glad to get home into the airconditioning and now I am feeling better.

I read the news and my concern is whether or not my friends can get home once they reach Toronto, as there was a major blackout in Toronto about 4:30 this afternoon, If I had known that before I took them to the station, I would have insisted that they stay here overnight but I only knew it when I opened the computer and saw the news. They both will call me when they get to their separate homes. Heat and I do not go well together. Both Nasima and I really had a rough time but Feeza was amazing, it didn't bother her at all.
Our short little visit to Bayfront park. We walked along a little bit but came back to this spot as it was more shaded. The girls really liked this area.
I didn't do so well with this shot, almost chopped off Nasima's head! Tried to get the pretty flowers in as well as they matched Feeza's outfit from Trinidad that her brother bought her. Nice happy colours!
Feeza, on the little train. She was the coolest of the three of us and didn't seem to mind the heat at all. Both Nasima and I wilted.
Nasima, on the little train on the way to Princess Point. It was a beastly hot day, 90 degrees and the sun was beaming down on us. Very hard to take.
Nasima, at my place. Right after we ate.

Feeza at my place. We had a dinner together (roast chicken, potatoes and vegetables and salad). I cooked it all the day before.
At Pier 8. We took the shuttle bus down to Pier 8, then hopped on the little train ($5.00 each) and took a 45 minute ride all the way to Princess Point. On the way back, we asked to be let out at Bayfront Park and we enjoyed it there until the next train picked us up again.

Thanks for reading my blog. Have a good day!
